This book is addicting I think there's something in it. I cried when Edward left. I dont think Stephaine should put so much emotion in her writing it makes the book too sad. I don't want to read Eclipse anymore. I only liked Edwarrd how could Bella ditch him for Jake? I would die.

Great addition to Twilight. I love how the author picks up the story line right where she left off, and doesn't skip a beat. I can't wait to start reading the third book next. Adds more detail to an already interesting plot. You are introduced to new and engaging characters. You are in the middles of all the twists and turns the main character faces.

In this amazing sequel to the beloved series by Stephanie Meyer, we are better introduced to the character, Jacob Black. In the previous book, Twilight, we all knew that Jacob had a little crush on Bella but, unfortunately for him, all her attention was devoted to Edward. In this book however, lucky for Jacob, he just happens to be there when Bella is in dire need of a friend and Edward is no where to be found.

A few days after the incident at Bellas birthday party, Edward decides he needs to have a talk with her. After Edward tells Bella that we have to leave, shes trilled, thinking that he means him and her. After the real meaning dawns on her, she is far from trilled. She starts crying and pleading for him to stay, but as he puts it, he has no choice. The months after Edward leaves are really a blur. Bella IS a walking ghost; she doesnt know how to lead a normal life without him. He WAS her life.

On a day out with Jessica, Bella realizes that if she puts herself in danger someway, or acts stupidly, Edward speaks to her. After that day, she goes about her way to do anything wild and dangerous, just to hear his voice again. She goes out and buys a pair of broken down motorcycles. She goes to Jacob, hoping that hell fix it up for her and later on, teach her how to actually ride it.

She and Jacob become pretty good friends now. She spends all her time over at his house and watches/talks to him while he works on the bikes. They get to know each over pretty well and become best friends, even though Jacob wants more. Everything seems to be going pretty well, till everyone starts talking about the mysterious bear in the woods. What could it possibly be? Now suddenly, Jacob doesnt want to hang out with her anymore and wont talk to her or anything. What could she have possibly done to deserve such treatment?

After one of her crazy stunts, Bella gets an unexpected visit from Alice Cullen. Before they have enough time to celebrate her visit, they get some really upsetting news. Edward was gone to see the Volterra, the head vampire tribe, and it seems like the only person who can save him is Bella. Will she and Alice get there before Edward does something to get himself killed?

In this book, Bella goes through more changes and challenges than bearable. Will she be able to pull through it all and come out to be the person she once was before it all happened?

I would recommend this book to all fans of the Twilight series, fantasy lovers, and every one 14+

Why stop at one Twilight book? New Moon is the sequal to Twilight. This one had a little less Edward. And the way he left made me cry- literally. But, Bella finds a new best friend Jacob Black, who has a few secrets of his own. Like, the fact that he's a werewolf, the vampire's worst enemie.
But, when Edward is in trouble she rushes to the rescue. Wouldn't you do the same for your true love?

Bella turns 18, and is miserable because Edward can never be anything but 17 years old. A disasterous birthday party makes Edward see everyday he endangers Bellas life just being around her. Or so it seems. As it turns out, he tells Bella he just doesn't want her anymore and is moving away. They make a deal that Bella will stay out of trouble and Edward will stay away from her forever to cause her less pain. After months of just pausing her life, Bella decides to live like she's never lived before-on the edge. After all, Edward can never leave her, his promise was broken. So she turns to Jacob, an old family friend with romantic feelings for her. As Bella debates whether or not to go with Jacob, she finds herself tangled in with another clan of nonhuman creatures, fighting a battle caused by Bella. The clan tries to protect her, but Bellas daring side comes back out. A near-death experience shows how much Edward does care, and it's up to Bella to save Edward from himself...

This book was pretty good, not nearly as good as Twilight. I really hated Jacob at the end, he ruined everything. I won't say more, read it for yourself.

New Moon was not a good sequel to Twilight but it was not poorly written. I hoped that more things would happen with Bella and Edward but I was bummed that Edward did not appear in the first half of the book. Instead, it mainly focused on the friendship between Bella and Jacob. I suggest readers who are fans of the first book to read this book because yet again, it leaves you hanging for the third book in the series.

Well i must say a was shocked to hear those awful words come out of Edwards lips, i dont love you anymore what?!? i couldn't believe it! I though this book made me cry a little i loved it. I most addmit though that it was hard to want to read without my beloved Edward no longer in the story. Jacbo Black didnt please me i wanted Edward back! this made me read and read until i once again read Edwards name. I must say that there was a point where i no longer wanted to read. I hated Edward no longer being in the story! I thirsted for his name and for him to appear once again, but i knew he had to appear later in the story and finally when Alice came into the story i was relieved!! I loved the book, although i dislike the cliffhanger ends that keep me wanting to come back for more. Although its not a back thing.

Twilght and New Moon have been the greatest books i have read, i have never been much of i book worm but once i got my hands of these book i was surprised that i finished them in less then i week! I loved the books because the kept me coming back for more they kept me coming back for more. The way edward was discribed made me want a guy just like him! The characters are so easy to fall in love in love with that you feel a need to keep reading. two thumbs WAY high up!!

To be sure, NEW MOON is not as romantic as TWILIGHT. But fans of TWILIGHT will not be disappointed.

Edward and the rest of the Cullens disappear right in the beginning of the book, after Bella almost loses her life in a birthday party accident. Heartbroken and shattered, Bella spends the next few months in a zombie-like haze... until she meets up again with Jacob Black, her Quileute Indian friend, who helps Bella put together a motorbike. With Jacob's warmth and friendship, Bella finally feels like she is coming out of her haze.

However, strange things have been occurring on the Quileute reservation. Nearly every teenage boy has suddenly joined Sam's clique, and pretty soon, Jacob does too. But it's not just any clique. All the young men are werewolves: huge, intimidating, and extremely hot to the touch. This influx of werewolves was brought about because Victoria, partner of the James who was killed in TWILIGHT, is seeking revenge on his death by going after Bella.

Meanwhile, Bella continues her reckless behavior in order to hear Edward's voice yelling at her in her head. One time, a cliff-jumping attempt nearly results in her death. Unfortunately, it was at this moment that Rosalie decided to check in on Forks. Believing Bella had died, Rosalie told Edward, who resolved to go to the Volturi in Italy and break a vampire law so that they would kill him. Alice and Bella must head to Italy to stop Edward and escape from the Volturi's clutches before it is too late.

NEW MOON is full of questions that will hopefully be answered in the succeeding books. The Cullens have basically promised the Volturi that Bella will be one of them one day... so when will that happen? Werewolves and vampires hate one another on principle, so how will Edward (the boyfriend) and Jacob (the best friend) be able to stand each other?

this book is the sequel to Twilight. Although i liked the book, it was not what i expected. but dont worry the next book , eclipse , will be better.
the story continues with bella and her vampire boyfriend edward. on her birthday bella accidentally gets a papercut putting bella's life in danger(she was at edwards house, full of vampires). edward fears for her safety and that she wont have a normal life so he makes bella believe that he does not love her and leaves town. MONTHS pass by and bella is very depressed therefore she goes to her friend jacob. they instantly become best friends. bella hears edwards voice everytime she does something wreckless. so to keep hearing his voice, she jumps off a cliff (recreational purposes/fun). alice, edward's sister, has a vision of that and thinks that bella committed suicide. somehow edward finds out and decides to kill himself becuase he cannot live without bella.he goes to italy to get a family of ancient vampires to kill him. (thats the only way a vampire can die)

bella finds out wat edward is going to do and her and alice go to italy to save him. they end up saving him. now there is a problem. she is human and knows about the vampire world. the solution, either become a vampire (edward wont allow it) or die. if she does become a vampire (edward's family agreed to turn her)jacob ,who became a warewolf a vampire's enemy, and his warewolf friends will have to kill edward, his family and even bella because it soes against this old agreement or contract. What will bella do? We will find out in the next book, Eclipse.
