In New Moon, our star-crossed lovers, Bella Swan and Edward Cullen... break up?  Yes, that is what I said.

Edward is terrified of the possibility of possibly hurting Bella in the future, and tells Bella that they can no longer be together. He then leaves without telling her where he is going.  Bella is so devastated that she sinks into a deep state of depression.  Her sadness and broken heart seriously made me wish I could jump through the pages, find Edward, and make him come back.

So, what does a girl with a strange attraction to danger do when her vampire boyfriend breaks her heart?  She befriends Jacob Black, Indian Werewolf, who helps her find reasons to smile again all while falling in love with her himself.  She also finds a reason (I won't say what it is) to do scary and dangerous things on purpose leading to even more of those famous Bella trip-ups.

In the end of the book, our lovers reconnect and discover that even though they were apart, they never stopped thinking about each other.  This shows Edward that it will be impossible for him to stay away from Bella and vows to stay by her side.

I thought this was a great sequel to Twilight.  It really stirred up my emotions through its first-person point of view making me feel what Bella was feeling.  I was so betrayed when Edward left and thrilled when he returned.  However, unlike Bella, I was secretly rooting for Jacob to win her heart throughout the book.  Poor guy.

After Edward and his family leave Forks Bella find comfort in Jacob Black and the two become fast friends.  the relationship that developes between Bella and Jacob is a connection of kindred souls.  Jacob brings Bella back from the living dead and just as she is about to decide to move on and take a chance with Jacob Alice comes back and soon Edward is in trouble.  Alice and Bella must race to italy to save the man Bella still loves, while leaving a hearbroken Jacob behind.  In Italy the only way they are all allowed to leave alive is with a promise that Edward will soon turn Bella into a vampire as well.

This is a great book.  It would be so hard to be Bella and have to choose between two wonderful men.  Not that many of us have that problem.

New Moon, the sequel to Twilight, is the continuation to the unlikely insanely-in-love Bella Swan, human, and Edward Cullen, vampire. After Bella nearly got killed by the tracker James, Edward wishes he could prevent any danger that he feels he's causing her. When his brother Jasper snaps at a party when Bella gets a paper cut, Edward decides to let go.

Bella is heartbroken and depressed, but she fines some happiness in life from her friend from the past, Jacob Black. Trying to forget about her vampire beau, she concentrates on Jacob and finds a best friend in him. While it's obvious he's thinking a little more than friendship, he stays at the friend level. Bella thinks she has finally found hope, Jacob suddenly distances himself from her.

Going close back to what she was going through before, it takes a while for Bella to think back to the dream she had before she knew Edward was a vampire, where Jacob suddenly transformed into a wolf... It turns out that her best friend isn't even human either, but a werewolf!

If you want to find out what happens to Bella as she lives within a fantasy world, fragile and endangered no matter what, and what she's willing to risk for them. This book is recommended to everyone, even adults. It's an absolutely amazing series.

The Book New Moon was so real like to me. When i read it, it was like I was really there.  Just like with the other books in the series, I just couldnt put it down. New Moon will leave you wanting to keep reading after each chapter just to find out what will happen next.  The book is not only a adventure but a romance.  Bella and Edward show true love and somewhat real experiences. ( in some cases, except for the vampire part) I promise that if you like reading adventure and romance then this book is definetly for you.

This book totally made me cry. I cried a couple of times in the book. Three times to be exact. First of all, I cried when the Cullens left, and, believe it or not, whenever I think about it, I start to cry. I was sitting in class one day and just started to think about it and finally realized I had started crying. Second, I cried when Alice came back to check on Bella. I was just so happy atlesast one of the Cullens came back but I was so hoping Edward would come back and when I found out he hadn't yet, I was ready to read about Bella being depressed all over again. And, finally, I cried when Edward came back with Bella to Forks, Washington. I was just soooo happy he actually came back with her and didn't leave her again. If you have read this book, I am sure you were cried, or were atleast sad when the Cullens left. I definitely know I cried.

When I first read this book...I felt disappointed after reading it.
This time around I'm so excited about it, there is sooo much that I
didn't pick up on the first go round. I feel a little bit more
understanding of Bella's relationship to Jacob and I didn't really
dwell on the fact that Edward wasn't really a big part in a majority of
the story. I think because I knew that he wasn't really too far away
from Bella and in a literal sense from me as far as page count was
concerned lol! I'm really excited for this movie to come out now and
can only hope that the new director doesn't stray too far away from the
way this story is meant to be told. Instead of 4 stars I've given it 5!

On her 18th birthday, Bella, the memorable heroine from Stephenie Meyer's bestselling debut Twilight, is is seperated from her vampire lover Edward and his family. Within months, she becomes depressed until she seeks comfort in two things: childhood friend Jacob, whom she discovers is a werewolf, and risky behavior. The mix up teaches her what really matters.

When Meyer wrote her debut, thousands of girls gave up on Harry Potter books to sink their teeth into the shining vampire story of Bella and Edward. Now when Meyer brings them back, the story of the star-crossed lovers in a tale as juciey and memorable as Romeo and Julietbecomes a passionate dream.
