Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist spans a night. A magical night where the reader is transported into the lives of two music loving teenagers who both are attempting to avoid the exact same person. And maybe these two teenagers just might fall in love.
Usually I dislike books that involve romance over...a few hours. However, this novel entranced me. The authors know just how to suck a reader in and not let go.
Nick and Norah both feel real, and true to life. Even the "person that they've been avoiding" isn't actually "bad" and despite the fact that we only know these characters for a few brief hours, you care for them.
You want them to have their happy ending. (Despite the fact that you never want the book to end)
