With not so hidden themes about being honest combined with car racing, Optimus Prime and Megatron's Racetrack Recon was a fun read!
The illustrations are nice. I wish they had been in color, but are still pleasant to look at.
We once again meet up with the autobots we know and love on a mission to find fugitive Transformers. Bumblebee is at the heart of it all, of course not being where he is supposed to be.
The font is a larger type-set, making reading it a breeze. With only five chapters, the book concludes quickly with adventure and mystery along the way, sure to hold your young readers attentions. Will we ever find out if yellow cars are in fact faster than green cars?
