OUT turns our conventional perspectives upside down. While still telling a powerful story, Preble's book is deeply reflective and asks us to consider what it might be like if the typical WE (meaning opposite sex couples) were the ones who society reviled, bullied, and discriminated against. This book forced me not to take my romantic (or social) situation for granted anymore. It changed the way I saw the world. What more can you ask for in a book?
