P is For Pastrami is both educational and fun!
The vibrant colors and silly, yet beautiful, illustrations add to this books allure. The anthropomorphized food stuff was such a fun way to give the book character. My children enjoyed seeing familiar “faces” from Silberberg other board books.
Targeted at toddlers & younger children, upper elementary and even adults will find this book very entertaining. I, personally, was impressed with the authors ability to find a food for every letter of the alphabet in a single cuisine.
Readers may learn the names of new to them foods, thus opening the door for further exploration into the Jewish culture.
P Is For Pastrami is a very silly book with great illustrations sure to delight whole households.
