Pete the Cat is one of the cutest children's series out there and this one fits in well. My niece is obsessed, so I've read most of them. They vary in age range and this was old for her two years, but I'm excited for when she is ready for it.

I'm partial to Kid's books that teach valuable things and know this will be successful doing just that. This Pete book focuses on teaching kids simple math skills. I love that they can grow with Pete as they get older. His simple stories that are suitable for 2-year-olds are great enough to get them hooked, moving them right along into ones like this. Making subjects such as math fun and relate-able to young kids is one of the harder things to do - kids with short attention spans. You have to entertain them, have fun with them, in order to teach them. I'm glad there are books like this being written.

Pete the Cat's Got Class is a worthy addition to a classic series that I'll be reading for years to come.
