We're Pirasaurs! We're Pirasaurs! We rule the open seas! We'll cannon-blast you to the past! We do just what we please!

Meet the Pirasaurs, a ragtag team of seasoned pirate dinosaurs looking for adventure and treasure! There's fearsome Captain Rex, golden-toothed Velocimate, one-eyed Bronto Beard, and more fearsome, buccaneering beasts....as well as one new recruit who may be small, but who's eager to prove he can learn the ropes and find his place on the team.

But when a trap is set upon the Pirasaurs while looking for buried treasure, it's up to the littlest recruit to show the team that there's more to a Pirasaur than meets the eye patch!

What’s better than pirates? Dinosaur pirates! PIRASAURS! was such a delightful picture book. The second I began to read, I started singing the words in a sea-shanty type rhythm. The text is lyrical, which makes it easy to transition into a boisterous reading. Unlike some rhyming picture books, PIRASAURS is able to utilize the poetry to its advantage and I didn’t feel like I was stumbling along to keep up with the story.
The pictures were bold and blocky, (reminiscent of How to Train Your Dragon), and the colors were perfect for little readers who might not be on a cognitive reading level just yet. The smallest pirate wonders how he can ever fit in, swabbing the decks, trying to rise through the ranks, until finally, he becomes the hero in an unexpected way.
This story is perfect for kids enter school, or learning to share, or those who enjoy pirates and dinosaurs. This is a book that could be read again and again and maintain the enjoyment through each reading.
