I grew up watching the five hour A&E movie adaptation of this book. My childhood would have been incomplete without the neverending questions of why Mr.Darcy was thought proud, why the Bennet girls couldnt inherit the estate, and why Lizzie refused Mr. Darcy at first. Slowly as i grew older i began to grasp and truly adore the story. However, i loved it even more once i read the book. The plot revolves around young, determined Lizzie Bennet, the second of five sisters. When Lizzie meets Mr.Darcy she is sure that she has never met a man so proud or haughty. However, as the story continues her feelings change quite drastically. One of the best things about the story is the humour. I laughed out loud numerous times and i read it again and again.
