This is truly the book of generations. It was written in the 1800's, but the story could be about an American family of today. It is well written for that day in age, and the characters and settings are as clear as if I was walking along side Darcy and Elizabeth. Jane Austin is a universial writer who could capture life and write it so perfectly on a piece of paper. For that, people for centuries have been praising her name. And I am glad to be one of them.
