When Kel is chosen by the legendary Lord Raoul to be his squire, the conservatives of the realm hardly think she’s up to the job. Kel earns respect and admiration among the men, as well as the affection of a fellow squire.
This series now has full on romance, but its a lot different to some other romance novels that I have read, in the fact on how its written. It's still pretty amazing, but it has a different style that I find quite interesting. It seems real yet fake at the same time, probably because...I won't spoil the ending.
The characters have grown up a lot since the first two books, obviously because they're getting older, but also in the sense of their minds.
I liked this a lot, and I found it very enjoyable, if you like a light, but heavy read at the same time.

Another installment in one of my favorite series <3
Kel continues to fight for her knighthood. SHe has won the respect of her former enemies and is the squire of a famed, brave knight she has always admired. Now she must juggle romantics, chivalry, rivalry, and war... all while dealing with basic adolescent-girl issues in a predominantly-male world.
