For anyone who's ever wished they had telepathy, or could heal an injury with magic - or anyone who's fallen in love without meaning to - this is the book for you.
The first page plunges you right into the action on a medieval battlefield. Rabiah, a brave and intelligent young woman, is fighting for her life alongside the men of her clan. She's willing to die to protect her people, but instead she soon finds herself behind enemy lines and betrothed to the last person she'd expect!
Without giving away too much, she quickly finds out that he is indeed her match and the two of them embark on an exciting adventure, falling ever more deeply in love as they travel together. There are plenty of challenges in store for the young couple, and Rabiah's mental toughness and physical abilities are put to the test.
This book is a page-turner with plenty of dramatic wilderness scenery and intense action sequences offset by moments of humor and light-hearted banter between the characters. You'll root for Rabiah right to the last page. I'm excited to read the second and third books in this trilogy!
