A day in your writing life.
We have two young children, and Kevin has a day job and Katie also writes YA, so we are always scrambling to find time to write! We usually write at night after we’ve put both of our kids to bed, so it is more of a ‘night in our writing life’
We write sitting across from each other, on our own laptops, and send each other scenes as we go. We like to have tea and snacks to fuel us, and when we need inspiration we will take breaks and talk to each other about ideas. For some scenes that we want to write together (instead of splitting up and dividing scenes) we will project our laptop on our TV, and talk through the scene line by line.

Katie Tsang and Kevin Tsang met while studying at the Chinese
University of Hong Kong. Kevin works as a healthcare technology consultant, and
Katie writes YA as Katherine Webber. Together, they have also coauthored the
Sam Wu Is Not Afraid chapter-book series. They currently live in London with
their young daughter and can be found on Twitter @kwebberwrites and @kevtsang.
