This book is really a good book. If you like complicated fantasy books with magic and mystery, this is really your kind of book. Garth Nix really has a talent for creating impossibly remote worlds that really only he could have thought up of. It's in a series, Lirael comes after it and them comes Abhorsen.

this was a great book. i had never headr of this guy before but after i read this book i am ready to check out any other book he has ever published. Sabriel is a story of a girl who is peiceing her past together and at the same time trying to save her futcher. Sabriel was blessed with a sort of magic from the old kingdom witch stands in runes. She can go in to death and bring things back to life. Recently her dad has been trapped between life and death and it is up to her to find him and save him befor it is to late. it is great and I would tell any one to read it.
