The need for quality non-fiction texts for students continues to rise. This Scholastic series really impressed me with the amount of usable information in the book. As I flipped through the pages I was able to quickly learn a lot about plants, animals, and other aspects of the world's rainforests.

This reference book is very kid-friendly and I think children will love all the interesting facts they can pick up on. For example, did you know that Geckos have no eyelids? I didn't until I read this book. Not only is this book full of quality information, I think kids will be delighted with the colorful and up-close photos.
Good Points
A strong reference guide for information on the rainforest
