"She’ll Be the Sky" by Ella Risbridger is a beautiful collection of poetry by and for women and girls, with illustrations from Anna Shepeta that equal and enhance the messages. This is a great read-a-loud for younger audiences and read-to-self for the target middle grade ages 8-12, but also beyond; my 3-year-old loved it as much as I, and I know my grandmother would have purchased a copy for every woman and girl she knew.
