The story of Alina continues on book two of the Grisha Trilogy where she would discover more about her power and the Darkling's.
I absolutely love this book, Alina makes me mad sometimes but she is only doing what she can. The Darkling continues to amaze me. Oh Mal, I really got connected with him on this book. Siege and Storm is so well-imagined, it like nothing out there. The action really kicks in, and new cool and charming characters is introduced, Sturmhond (man I loved him)a privateer(pirate). He has a lot of secrets but those secrets help Alina and Mal. This book is better then the first one; the Grisha Trilogy is now my favorite. Siege and Storm turned out to be a emotional roller-coaster, action packed adventure. It was heart breaking to witness the tension between Alina and Mal and what it did to both of them, specially Mal. I really looking forward to read the third and final book of the Grisha Trilogy. After reading this wonderful, epic, superb book, Siege and Storm leaves with the door open to a bran new beginning. Just have to wait and see what it will be like. Damn Wow, it totally exceeded my expectation. Recommend to all of those who read Shadow and Bone and those who want to read something different but just plain awesome. 5 fantastic stars
