Crashed starts off six months after Lia's download. She is living with Jude's little gang. Then she sees a Vid, a Vid of her former friend, Auden. In the last book he had suffered major injuries and now sees mechs as a threat. He has joined a religious party that wants to, not destroy mechs, but strip all of their rights and chuck them out on the street. After seeing these videos, Lia is sent on a mission to receive a package from BioMax. When Lia and Riley arrive and are waiting for the deliverer, chaos strikes. A mech who looks exactly like Lia released a toxic chemical into the air of the corp-town.

Crashed has a lot more action than in the last book. It is about the aftermath of the accident with Auden, and the issues that arise for Lia. This book is a great read, and if you loved the first book, then you will also love this novel.

Reader reviewed by Arianna J.

The action in this book was definitely better than in her lat book. It starts off when Lia is beinning her new life with her kind - the mechs. But, she didn't realize what she was getting into. Everything becomes more and more complicated throughout the book, with several twists and suprise endings. I love the pairing in this one though!!! Jude is someone i definitely didn't like, which is why im so glad she has been staying away from him. t, the ending was pretty good, although i didn't really expect that last scene to go down as it did AT ALL! So kudos for the good job there. The plot mad sense, more ofr less, throughout the whole book. The one thing i didn't like though, was the time lapse that happened when she was having her little.... escapes. Overall, awesome read, and definitely better than the first one!
