Skinned Trilogy: Wired (Book 3)

Wired is an attention-grabbing book that caught my attention. This book is the major, ending battle that solves all battles. It is about freedom and rights and all other sorts of problems. The idea is a very interesting, and is some causes quite confusing, especially the ending. Be warned, its a cliff-hanger and there are no books after it. I was kinda angry with the ending but it could of been worse.

One year ago Lia Kahn died.
A few days later she woke up… She had a new body which was mechanical, unfeeling and inhuman. She had a new family, other 'mechs' like her, who didn't judge her for what she could no longer be. She had a new life, one that would last forever.
At least it was supposed to…
But now everything Lia thought she knew has turned out to be a lie; everyone she thought she loved has been stolen away. And someone is trying to get rid of the mechs, once and for all.
Lia will risk everything to save herself and the people she can't live without. But not before facing one final truth: she can't save everyone.

In the last book, the characters come out that last bit of their shells. Especially Lia's dad, who turns out to be one of the worst characters. My favorite character in the end was Lia. She always seemed strong and fought for what she believed was right. She seemed like a great mech, even though she was sorta only on her own side. I found her quite interesting as she did somethings I didn't expect.

The plot is great and so is the writing style, and I recommend it to young adults who love futuristic themes with a bit of politics. All in all, this was a great book with a bizarre ending.

Okay, so although there were many interesting, attention-grabbing, made-you-wanna-keep-reading events!, THE ENDING WAS.... #&@&^#^&*# I can't even write words to describe my frustration. It's that kind of ending where somthing happens to the main character at the end, but NOTHING IS RESOLVED. It just kinda leaves you hanging with a new development you didn't expect, almost like there's another book coming. But there's not. BAHH, the ending!!! Anyway, besides that, great book and and altogether interesting series. I think the second book was acually te best in th whole series though...
