Construction vehicles are popular in books these days, and Little Dozer might just be the cutest I have ever seen. I love how he goes through an ordinary bedtime routine that will be familiar to lots of kids – playing outside, washing up, reading bedtime stories, and snuggling in to bed. The illustrations are cute, with great attention to detail (Little Dozer reads about Three Little Rigs, haha).
The rhyming text tells the story of Little Dozer and introduces many other construction vehicles, and it strikes a great balance of being both engaging yet soothing.
