Laurel the main character gets more involved in the fairy world, Avalon,( when she discovers she is a fairy after blooming her wings which are petals) and Tamani, his love interest from the fairy land, but a the same time she is still with David, her boyfriend from the human world. I would have loved if she chose who to be with already but not maybe in book three. Great way to put suspense Pike. This sequel to Wings was way better then the first one. It had more action. Put poor Tamani, I feels sorry for him, shame on you, Laurel. I think I'm ready for book three Illusions.
