Chelldrah-ham a city of vast wealth and riches, not on this world but also not off it. Stig an adventurous younker lives there with his father and sick mother.
Stig's hobby is building clockwork machines beyond imagination with his mate Arn. He lives a happy active life filled with fun, until one fateful day when he was on his way to test fly his new plane. All he did was to over wind the spring on his clockwork board, but it changed his life and all around him forever, causing him to get caught in the high winds above the Motherland and to crash into a pod from "Nuvinelands" and get transported great distances from home, losing his plane.
