If you are looking for something to tie you over while you wait for the latest season of Stranger Things to be released - this book is for you. This story does a deep dive into Robin's life and her point of view of things happening in Hawkins. Robin is searching for a place to belong and it's not easy in this small town. Through her struggles to find her place, she begins to think the only place she can truly discover who she is and where she belongs is outside this tiny town of hers. But as fans of the show know, it is not always easy to leave Hawkins.

I liked knowing more about her and seeing the show's events/characters from a perspective we really don't get enough of in the series. This is a story of things that go bump in the night Hawkins style, the desire to run away to find answers, and the need to find self-acceptance in a world that often feels like it is spinning out of control. This book kept me engaged from start to finish. This can stand alone in connection to the story. Those who have not seen Stranger Things may have trouble understanding the big picture of the story and how Robin plays a part in a bigger storyline.
