I was one of those readers who upon immediately finishing 'Paranormalcy' wanted 'Supernaturally'. So, after months of waiting, I was ecstatic to finally get my hands on the second book of the trilogy.
Evie is back and as sassy and sarcastic as ever. I love her quick wit and sarcasam so much and I found myself laughing out loud (I may have even snorted a couple times) throughout the entire book. I just would love to hang out with her, or go shopping with her. She is a hoot! Of course since Evie is back, so is Lend. I really adore his character. He is so sweet and kind and hasn't changed much since the first book. Thank you for that, Kiersten. However, and I don't want to give away any spoilers, but I will just say I was hoping of more scenes with them together. That being said, I found myself really jumpy when a certain ex-boyfriend faerie kept showing up, you know who I'm talking about. Reth really does creep me out, as he should. There are also some new characters, and honestly I thought they were a bit over the top, but still enjoyable. I felt bad for Evie though, because it seemed like there were so many relationships in her life at one time and she had a hard time keeping up with all of them, especially her friend Arianna.
If you liked the first book, you should pick this one up soon. However, I will say that I was a bit disappointed with this one overall. Only in comparison to the first book though. I gave the first book 5/5 stars and was really hoping I could do the same for this one, but I have to give it 3.5 stars. I adore Kiersten White and seriously hated to do that, but I'm just being honest. And with that being said, I will still be reading the 3rd book in the series.
