I don't know why I liked this book so much. Oh wait, of course I do! Magick! Withes! Circles! Samhain!
I love books about Wicca and witchcraft. I don't know why, but I have always loved that genre. I have always loved witches, and not the Harry Potter kind of witches (even though I love those too), the real, hardcore Wiccan witches!
Book of Shadows definitely delivered that and more. Even thought it was extremely short, it set up the characters and the story so well, but there was never a dull moment! The characters and the setting were extremely well written and real feeling.
Book of Shadows was a great introduction and I can't wait to finish this 15 book series!
