I was very impressed with Anna Jarzab's first book in the Many Worlds series. The world-building is superb! It was so easy to believe in Aurora, and honestly, I wanted to go there! Sasha is a realistic, practical girl who doesn't come across as whiny. Thomas is strong, honest, loyal, and so endearing - the way he makes those origami stars! so cute! - and I am absolutely in love with this intrauniversal transporter! Alternating their points of view was a great technique. I would highly recommend Tandem to just about everyone: teens, adults, Fantasy fans, fans of sci-fi and dystopian fiction, those looking for a good romance. Tandem has everything!
