I finished this book a while ago- but I will attempt to remember as much as possible. This is Frank McCourt's third book. The other two being: "Angela's Ashes" (I have not red this but I hear this is good) and "'Tis" (I have not red this either anddo not much about it). McCourt has a kind of complaining tone throughout the whole book. I especially loved the parts of the book where McCourt recalls former students and the type of people they grew up to be. I was and amazed at how clearly he remembers details from him thirty year teaching career. If he were a teacher in any other era he would not have lasted long. I love the beginning of this book especially. Read this book if you want to think.
