Tears of a Heart is a great coming-of-age tale, that is unique enough to distinguish itself for the mass of books out there, and more specifically some of the newer coming-of-age tales. It isn't overly predictable. There are obvious hints of future events. Overall, loads of fun.
Good Points
I really enjoyed the writing of this book. It is poetic at times and just downright beautiful. A caveat, it does take a moment to get used to, but well worth it.
Characters were very believable and interesting. The protagonist is one you root for, despite not knowing his moral status as of yet.
