Teeny Tiendas: The Fruit Shop/La frutería is about a trip to Mr. Manzano’s fruit shop, where he sells many different fruits, in English and Spanish.
What I liked: This book contained various fruits that I did not recognize nor did I know their names in English. I love that this series teaches the terms both in English and Spanish and that the terms are side by side on each page. I love the diversity on each page which continues with the ending where you see various families together at the picnic.
Final verdict: Teeny Tiendas: The Fruit Shop/La frutería is a cute board book that introduces children to various fruits they might find at the store and provides them with names for those fruits in English and Spanish.
