Tracy Deebs has really raised the stakes with Tempest Unleashed! From page 1, Tempest Unleashed is an intense ride that I could not put down for a moment.

Tracy Deebs really pulls out all the stops with this installment of Tempest's story. The action was constant and there were so many twists and turns throughout the story. I could never guess what was coming next. I continue to love the liberties Tracy Deebs takes with the typically merfolk mythology, as her mermaids are just so unique. Tempest Unleashed really explores the full spectrum of Tempest's powers, which was really neat to see.

My sole complaint about Tempest Unleashed was the focus on the love triangle. I don't mind that there is one, but I felt like at certain points throughout the book it took a bit too much of the focus. It made those parts a bit too angsty for my liking.

The characters in this series are just wonderful. I love Tempest - she is such a kickass heroine. I really liked seeing more of Mahina in this installment - she is such a fun character. Even the more minor characters in this series all really stick out in my mind and I love that.

Tempest Unleashed ends on an ultimate high. Tracy Deebs plays with your emotions throughout the entirety of the book, but in the last few chapters was when I felt my heart breaking the most. I cannot wait to see where the story goes next.

Tempest Unleashed by Tracy Deebs is a book you do not want to miss. As one of the hits of summer, Tempest Unleashed was one heck of a read, and I loved every moment of it.
