“The Beatles,” a Little Golden Book, written by Judy Katschke and illustrated by Maike Plenzke, tells the story of John, Paul, George, and Ringo, better known the world over as The Beatles. These four friends from Liverpool all had musical aspirations, and eventually they started playing together. The rest is truly history, as the band has gone on to become one of the most well-known of all time. From singing in London theaters to performing on a TV show in New York City, the glitz and glamour grew as their popularity skyrocketed.

This book does a nice job sharing with young people who the Beatles are as well as enhancing their cultural significance. Anyone of any age who wants to learn more about one of the most well-known bands of all time should read this book and gain further insight.
