Kara McAllister is in DESPERATE need of a boyfriend. Why? Well, who wants to live as a "lifelong boyfriendless social outcast, destined to die alone??" Kara is determined not to be that girl.
So Kara begins a scientific experiment to answer the question... "How do I find a boyfriend?" What seems like an easy task, turns into a journey of declining popularity, battling mean girls, BFF confusion, secrets, and most importantly... a lot of observations about boys!
Will Kara's story end in success?
I really enjoyed this book. It was funny, entertaining, and impossible to put down. Kara shares her journey through charts, graphs and scientific notes and observations that make this book unique and fun. The Boy Project is a great, light read; perfect for a weekend!
I highly recommend it to all girls age 10 and up; especially girls in middle school.
