This isn't my favorite of the Chronicles of Narnia series, but it's still a grand adventure. I think because the entire story takes place in Narnia, rather than pulling a human from Earth into the world of Narnia, it lost a bit of its magic for me. However, I can still highly recommend it. It's got memorable characters, tension, drama, and a fabulous adventure with really high stakes.

This one is actually my favorite of the series. I fell in love with Shasta and the horses, and I liked meeting new characters and being introduced to a new kingdom. However, it's usually the least favorite for lots of people b/c of those points. Fascinating.
