I wasn't exactly impressed with this book. I rarely want to put a book down after starting, but this one I struggled to get through to the end. It was silly to the point it almost was stupid. The characters showed no real character, and the main character does the same dumb stuff over and over. They were rather unrealistic as well. There are 2 more books in the series.

Overview
Madison, Holly and Lina have been best friends since Madison moved to their school. Although they are friendly with the popular kids, they haven't exactly been invited to any "cool" parties lately. But all that changes when these girls turn their IDH Project into their personal E-Harmony. With love in their hands, and each quiz entry that comes in, these girls pair themselves up with they guys of their dreams. But is it really meant to be, especially when you cheat love?

Review
This book was pretty good, a fun quick read with a light plot. I liked the multi-person POV, how I was able to get into each girl's head. It's funny how different these girls are, but also how they are soo much alike. The only thing I didn't really like was the amount of dialogue that was in the book. At times, I thought it was just too much, and wasn't well written. The writing was weak at some points too, but it was a good read overall. I would definitely recommend The Dating Game series to all YA Readers. I'll be looking for the second book in the series: Breaking Up Is Really Really Hard To Do.

I've read the first two books in the Dating Game series and I wasn't exactly impressed. There were some issues I thought the book didn't exactly need... drinking at home and wanting to have sex at such a young age. It also seemed very unrealistic. If you're into books like those, then go ahead and read it, but if you're into something cleaner then these books, more kudos for you. Yes, I'll probably read the third book to see what it's like, and I like it a little b/c yes, it may not be realistic, but they were fun to read.

This book is really funny.I love how the teacher lets the three girls do their project no question asked.I also like how much there school is like just about every other real life school. Really there isn't anything bad about this book in my opinion.

Mads, Lina, and Holly make the The Dating Game website for their IHD class(sex ed).

Mads wants Sean Benedetto to go out with her, but he thinks she's twelve! So now Mads is on a journey to prove her maturity and sex appeal to Sean. Along the way, Mads will endure humilitation, heartache, and hangovers.

Holly is just the opposite, because of a prank Mads pulled everyone is now calling Holly lewd names and thinks she is a very liberal girl. Now it seems like everytime she gets a boyfriend he only wants one thing....

Lina is madly in love with their IHD teacher Dan Schulman. She is competing with Ramona, a goth girl who runs a cult for girl obsessed with Dan, Lina doesn't want to be this girls friend, but as the secrets between her and Dan pile up, she knows she can't tell Mads or Holly, only Ramona understands.

I like the comedy in this book, if you have ever done anything desperate to get a guy, trust me, this book will make it seem like what you did was completely normal.

3 best friends have a project to do for school, so they decide to make up a website called the Dating Game. Madison wants to go out with the hottest guy at school. Holly wants people to stop making up rumors about her. Lina is in love with her teacher.

On their new website, they learn about the different escapades of their classmates and how experienced they are. They also offer a matchmaking service. The girls take advantage of this to hook up with guys that they want to. Holly, Lina and Mads get into crazy situations and Holly also learns the meaning of love.

I thought that this book was really good. Once I got into the story, I couldnt put the book down. I wish the main characters were a bit older, but the storyline was still really good. I especially liked this because Lina was Asian and they dont usually have Asian main characters in books like this. I would definitely recommend this book to fans of the Gossip Girl and A-List series.
