WIthout giving too much away, this book is about a 14 year old who is sent away to this school. . It gets weirder and weirder. There is an evil stepfather at home who is trying to take over while the main character is trapped at this place that makes him...well...you'll have to see. I agree with the other reviewer. The fact that it is true makes it a great book. Anyone can make up stuff, but true stories are sometimes the best! Read it!
Good Points
It really happened. Good characters.

It's about weird boarding schools that used to exist. I felt like Charlie-the main character-was realistic how he thought. There were so many things he had to go through and figure oout while he was trapped. The ending was great. Loved it!
Good Points
Totally different. True Story.

I hope James Tipper writes a sequal! I miss the characters already. The story is about a guy named Charlie Hoff who is sent to this strange school in the mountains where he can't escape. He has to tell everyone his darkest secrets. He also had to watch out for the other students who are keeping track of everything he does. I'm not going to give anything away, but Charlie learns the ropes but it isn't easy. The end kept me up. I couldn't put it down! The fact that this actually happened is trippy!
Good Points
I love books about things that actually happened. Totally diffent than anything I've read. Characters were realistic. Story was very interesting. Scary parts, sad parts, and funny parts were a good balance.
