A full color guide to the names and places of the Dragon Masters Series. There’s castle schematics, equipment lists, character profiles, advice columns, and more. Most pages have an equal mix of text and illustrations.
As someone not super familiar with Dragon Masters lore, I loved the variety of information. With character background stories, maps, and even thoughtful advice on how to be a good friend, it feels like there’s something for everyone to enjoy, whether they’re more into absorbing pictures or words. Seeing lots of character and dragon profiles side by side, I also really appreciated the diversity within the series and they’re inspired by different people and cultures.
It might be a handier reference with the inclusion of a table of contents or index, but I imagine most kids will read it straight through anyway. This trove of knowledge is sure to please Dragon Master fans and could be a good way to get new readers to try the series.
