The Face On The Milk Carton
This book is a page-turner; The Face On The Milk Carton by Caroline B. Cooney is with out a doubt an outstanding book.
Can you imagine one day at school you have milk and on the back of the carton are missing kid ads and you are the missing kid, kidnapped twelve years ago. Well this is what happened to this courageous fifteen-year-old Janie Johnson. She was kidnapped from a shopping mall in New Jersey twelve years ago and as she gets pieces of the puzzle she finds nothings making sense.
It is an entertaining epic of a girls search and perseverance to find her true identity. This is a great book for teens and young adults probably anywhere any where from 13 to 18 but is a 6.0 grade level book. If you read and enjoy this book grab the second one of the series What Janie Found. Another book by Caroline B. Cooney is The Ransom of Mercy Carter. I am inspired and moved by Janies search for her identity.
