When he is given a special poppy, Teddy travels back in time to the trenches of World War I, then aboard a World War II ship trying to evade submarines and finally on a air force bomber on a mission. Will he ever get home? Teddy experiences the camaraderie, fear, danger and devastation of life in a war zone and he encounters his own ancestors who unknowingly help him to survive.
