Review Detail

The Ghostly Photos is a solid sequel to the Mysteries of Trash and Treasure series by Margaret Haddix. I like how it talks about topics like death and dementia without dumbing down the issues for kids but simplifying them in a way that is easy to understand and accept as a part of life. I also enjoyed the bit of a history lesson while learning about the great depression. Though this is the second book in the series, I did not read the first one, so other than missing the details from the previous mystery and how the kids meet, you can read this one without reading that one.
