When Izzy breaks a window in the creepy house next door, her summer plans suddenly go from playing baseball in the backyard to doing yard work for mysterious Mr. Johnson to pay for the damage. Just when she thinks it can't get any worse, she encounters a ghost girl with a cryptic message: HELP ME. As Izzy begins to unravel the mystery surrounding the girl's death, she discovers a whole new meaning to being friends... forever.

THE GIRL IN THE WINDOW is a fun, perfectly paced middle grade novel. Each chapter has an exciting ending, so you will want to go on to the next one and not put it down until the very end. Even then, you’ll be eager for further adventures. If you have a child like I do who will only read spooky books, then I can highly recommend this one!

What a well-written story with surprising twists and turns. This is a page-turner that capture the reader’s Imagination. Izzy has a powerful baseball swing and an even stronger desire to help others, even if they aren’t human! I enjoyed every moment of her adventure!
