I was eagerly anticipating the conclusion to the amazing Hunger Games trilogy and I so wanted it to live up to everything I hoped for. It definitely did not disappoint me. I love when a book grabs a hold of me and sucks me into its world. Ms. Collins has a way with world building. Everything was so clear that I could actually believe something like the Districts would exist some day.
What struck me most about this book is how it makes you think. I have had some great conversations with friends and family members about this world and how it relates to our world. I wasn't sure I would enjoy the violent nature of the series and was reluctant at first but after reading I couldn't imagine the series any different.
