Alyson Noel continues her very long series with Dark Flame.
Ever has these strange feelings for Roman, though she doesn't know why and finds herself compelled to go to him, which she calls the dark flame in her. Is it Roman's magic, or something Ever would hate to admit: just her.
Jude know knowing his, Ever's, and Damen's connected past, tries to get with Ever but he has no chance with the `dark flame' and Damen to compete with, which makes his situation a pity for such a good guy.
Haven, now immortal because of Roman's ultimatum he gave Ever, shows her true colors. She is evil through and through.
With heartache and sadness at every turn this book is depressing and it sorta drags on more and more, although a really good story.
