Alice is only ten years old but she is good at fixing things, not just houses like her parents. She will help three friends (ghosts) who are trapped in a magnificent house scheduled for demolition. Although there is tension in this race against time the story sometimes lacks energy. I liked that there are different types of ghosts and unfinished business.
