Meghan Chase has returned to the Winter Court, upholding her bargain with the Winter Prince, Ash. She is once again sucked into the political intrigue of the faery courts as she witnesses an assasination and the robbery of the "Scepter" an instrument that balances the seasons. Trying to prove the Iron fey exist, and stop a war between the courts, Meghan sets out to find the Scepter along with Ash.

I loved the second book even more than I loved the first one. Once again the characters, new and old, were amazing.  I loved the lively banter between characters, and the plot was non-stop action and adventure. There was never a dull moment in this book.
I read the whole thing in one sitting. I can't wait to find out what happens next as I eagerly wait for the thrid and final book of the Iron Fey series.
