Kip Anderson, possibly the smartest boy in all of Vermont, is about to have the adventure of a lifetime, whether he wants it or not!
With the help of Jason, his best (and only) friend, he discovers a gigantic secret underground warehouse hidden under the town’s only junk yard. The Warehouse is filled with the most fantastic inventions that any human being has ever laid eyes on, and all seemingly made out of discarded junk! The Junkyard's owner, Hank MacNamarra, is a total mystery to the boys. After all, how could a Junk man invent these fantastic devices?
While exploring the vast storehouse, they stumble upon a fantastic device which whisks them off through time and space to far away to a world with strange custom and rules, neither boy understands!
Together they must overcome many obstacles as they encounter these new customs, battle pirates, overthrow governments and still somehow find their way back home!
