The kite fighters is about two brothers. The older one receives an awesome kite, but is a terrible flyer. Young-sup, the younger one is a great flyer. The problem is the older son represents the family. Will he win the fight? Find out in The kite fighters!

My opinion is, I didnt think I would like it. It turned out really good. It did seem boring at some points, where they were not doing much. I would rate this a four, five being the best.

What I think of this is if you like action or modern day adventures, dont read this. If you like historical fiction and not much action, go ahead, read. This would be perfect for you.

Young-Sup, a boy who lives in Soul, Korea, is a boy who loves kite flying. He is a jealous little boy who thinks that his dad gives his older brother, Kee-sup, everything. When the time comes for the annual kite fighting festival, Young-Sup wants more than anything to fight with his kite in the festival to represent his family. The only problem is that the oldest kid is supposed to represent the family. From jealousy to great ideas, The Kite Fighters is a book with suspense and action packed fun.

I think that the book, The Kite Fighters was a great book with suspense and action. This is a book that the action isnt as in fighting with swords, but with kites. I love this book because it is the type of book that if you are reading a book in a group, you will be suspicious on what will happen next, and you can have the fun a little at a time. I also like this book because it is a book where if you read the whole book at the same time, you will be begging for more. I think that it is a great book because it resembles the life of how two brothers in the present time now, could live from fights to fun. I think that this is a great book because it never gets dull at all. It keeps going with suspense and action.

I would recommend this book to those kids who dont like action as in bloody violence, but action as in fighting, but with kites. I think that those kids who like books that have a scenario that could happen in real life. I think that this is a book for kids who have a couple of challenging words, but not as in they dont understand one thing about the book because of the words. I think that you would like this book if you like suspense as in, what is going to happen next? I really like the book, The Kite Fighters, and I recommend this book to everyone.

This book is about a boy named Young-sup and is brother Kee-sup. Young-sup is better at flying kites than his brother. Kee-sup is 14, and young-sup is only 12. Young-sup thinks that his brothers life is better and that he gets to go everywhere yet he doesnt get to go anywhere when Kee-sup does.

I think you will like the book because if you like suspense you will love this book but if you like to read books from beginning to end then you will not like the book so if you like to read books from beginning to end then stay away and dont bother to buy the book.

I think that this book is good for people that like kites and for people that like suspense. I also think that people that like to read books from beginning to end will not like this book because then you wont get all the suspence and youll miss out on the best parts about the book and wont get to think about what will happen next in the book.

Young-sup is looking forward to the New Year but when his brother Kee-sup gets a shining New Year kite Young-sup flames with envy! Kee-sup finally gives up to Young-sups constant begging while inside Young-sup he is shouting with joy! Key-sup finds he has the talent of craftsmanship, while Kee-sup is sharpening his skills Young-sup learns he has the talent of the kite! Will Young-sup enter the kite tournament fo his family honor instead of his older brother?

This book has very good points but needs more action because for about two chapters it complete lost me. While I am a action lover some people may like having to wait and think about the book to figure out the book.

If you like steady ancient fiction books this is your type. But if you love action like me,  please do not waste your time reading The Kite Fighters. Please think about your type of book before reading The Kite Fighters.

Back in Seoul, Korea in 1473, two brothers are excited about the kite fights of the new year. Young-sup is a flawless expert at kite flying, but is under-rated by being the second son born, which is a law by tradition. Kee-sup has trouble flying, but can design a high-flying kite. These two relatives make a perfect team. But unfortunately, Kee-sup must be ahead of Young-sup. Will the law be broken? Read to find out!                                                          This ancient novel has a lot to say. That is why it has become a Yearling. These two boys that are brothers take the story on for a roller coaster. All in between there are arguments, loving moments and a new invention. The feelings are the corkscrew. Jealousy, happiness, sadness and even mixed emotions! Once youre finished, youll be wiped out!                                                                                                                                                As I conclude, this novel has many ancient cultures. If anybody wants to learn a little about ancient Korea, The Kite Fighters is a great book. But remember, DONT read it for top info. This is also not for action nor romance. But if you want a brotherly story, youll cherish every word.

Kee-sup is a boy who loves to make things. Young-sup is the opposite of Kee-sup, Young-sup likes to fly things. Young-sup gets really jealous one day when Kee-sup gets a Kite, but Young-sup keeps telling Kee-sup that Young-sup himself should be the person who gets the kite. Will they get to do what they want to do, or will Young-sup have to make the kite and will Kee-sup has to fly it? Read the book to find out!

I think this book was GREAT!!!  I loved how the main characters (Kee-sup and Young-sup) met a bunch of new people, and those people made the story better! They run into some people who you would never have thought they would run into in this book.

I think you would like this book if you like books that have people that switch places also if you like books about people fighting there feelings, or fighting In a sport. You wouldnt like this book if you like mysteries or if you dont like historical fictions!!!

                                                  Read this book today!

This book takes place in ancient Korea wear two brothers that are opposites work together to compete the kite festival. Kee-sup gets a kite for new years celebration and is not very good. But Young-sup is .so him and his brother go flying kites one day and the king sees the kites and asks if he could have one. And when it was finished the king realizes he will win Young-sup has to do a favor.

I think this is an awesome book. Because it takes place in ancient Korea and has very good language of the discipline. It is one of top ten books in my list. I was thinking, what was going to happen? or why not?.

I think that someone who doesnt like too much action and likes books about opposite characters would enjoy this book.  I you like things from ancient times you will like this book.

Young-sup the younger brother of Kee-sup has discovered his talent for flying kites. For New
Years Celebration his older brother got a kite and young-sup wanted a kite too. He begged Kee-sup to let him try with his kite. Finally Kee-sup lets Young-sup try and both Young-sup and Kee-sup saw how good Young-sup was at flying the kite. Young-sup faces many problems but finds creative ways to solve them.    In this story, Young-sup and his brother start to understand each other and help solve each others problems.

This book is a good book because it has a good meaning and makes you want to keep reading.  It shows how two brothers start to better understand each other as they develop a great relationship.  Young-sup has problems that he has to solve, and he comes up with creative ways to solve them.  You wont want to put this book down because there is so much excitement and worry involved.

If you like action-packed adventure, this book might not be right for you.  If you enjoy historical and realistic books, I highly recommend this book.

The tension heats up in Seoul, Korea as Young-sup gets ready for competition. But tradition says Kee-sup, the firstborn son, must represent the family. This is a quiet tension heating up, like a shark creeping up on its prey as The Kite Fighters goes up a notch.

This is a quiet story to me, as it seems to barely float with me along to the climax. Thats when it gets good. But still, all the right things happen to make a fairytale ending. Then when the kite fights start, it was at the top of the whole book. If you can keep reading it, itll reward you.

I recommend this book for the people who like a quiet story that dont give up on a book. If you are an action-packed person who is a tough judger, dont even have an idea about this book. Linda Sue Park made a good book, but I dont think its her best.
