The classic tale of Little Red is brought to life in a new way with shaped edges and a multidimensional format. And the book still fits in the palm of your hand!

As a book to share with little ones, I love the sturdy size - the five or so pages add up to a full 1" spine. The pages grow with the story, which adds to the building tension, and the narrative does not skip out on any details. I particularly enjoyed the scene of the hunter cutting open the wolf, revealing Red and Grandma standing in its belly - somehow it was still quite cute and charming.

Do make sure to bring your glasses. The font is small, and the story itself is missing that rhyme/musicality which would lend itself to easy reading.

A great way to introduce youngsters to fairy tales!
