Ted and Kat watched their cousin Salim board the London Eye, but after half an hour it landed and everyone trooped off—except Salim. Where could he have gone? How on earth could he have disappeared into thin air? Ted and his older sister, Kat, become sleuthing partners, since the police are having no luck. Despite their prickly relationship, they overcome their differences to follow a trail of clues across London in a desperate bid to find their cousin. And ultimately it comes down to Ted, whose brain works in its own very unique way, to find the key to the mystery.

This story has a lovely flow to it and is written in an easy to follow style - a really easy and pleasurable read. Once cousin Salim disappears the two main characters, Kat and Ted, turn detectives to work out what might have happened to him. This is an interesting relationship because Ted has aspergers syndrome. The book is written from Teds perspective which gives the reader an insight into living with aspergers and how it can make life difficult on a daily basis. But it also makes the reader realize the positives that can come from a different view of life. Kat and Ted make a formidable team, and whilst all the usual things go on in the background like police visits, media reports, etc, Kat and Ted never give up even though it seems like a hopeless case.
