I was and always will be blown away by the amazing amount of depth that the books of the Lord of the Rings trilogy hold. While I was reading the Fellowship of the Ring I never felt like I was reading a story, but a history. The breathtaking worlds and endearing characters that Tolkein has created will be with me always. Though the Fellowship of the Ring is classified as a Fantasy, once you read it you will begin to feel that it is all real. Frodo and his companions begin what seems like a simple journey in the Fellowship and upon coming to Rivendell and hearing the full truth of what their journey will ultimately encompass they realize that it is no small matter at all. I'm captivated at the commeradery in the Fellowship, the nine companions always there for one another, even if it means risking their own life for another. In our modern times of troubles and lacking relationships it warms my heart to know I can turn to the Fellowship of the Ring and find all that my day may be lacking at the time. A book filled with intrigue, excitement, love and spirit it's not one that should be passed up but read over and over again!
