This isn't my favorite of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, mostly because it is obviously a middle book and doesn't really feel like it has a strong ending. It functions as a bridge between books 1 & 3. However, the adventure is nail-biting, the world building is incredibly compelling, and we care deeply about the characters. I really liked the book, even if I didn't love it as much as books 1 & 3. It's a worthy addition to an epic adventure.

I like this one better than the first but less than the last. I like it when Boromir died for some reason even though he was a giood and important character. So everyone read this book to find out what hapens to the Company better known as the Fellowship

Tolkien's imanigation is incredible, but he wrote The Lord of the rings trilogy as a one very long book. And when u start to read The two tower without the reading of Fellowship of the ring u won't be able to understand what's going on.It's admireable masterpiese of J.R.R.Tolkien but I read it longer than the first part and this one isn't so suprising.
